QA/QC

The Material Inspector will support the Project Quality team by overseeing material inspection control, documentation, and coordination for a new fabrication facility. This role ensures that all materials meet project specifications, quality standards, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections on delivered and installed materials per approved submittals and specifications.
• Review and verify Material Test Reports (MTRs), Certificates of Compliance (CoC), and Mill Test Certificates (MTC).
• Coordinate material sampling and testing with third-party agencies.
• Prepare and submit Material Inspection Reports (MIRs) for review and approval.
• Maintain inspection logs, including pass/fail records and corrective actions.
• Upload inspection data and documents into the Construction Project Management System (CPMS).
• Monitor on-site material storage, labeling, and handling practices.
• Support the issuance and closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Collaborate with QA/QC teams, contractors, and client representatives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or higher; associate degree preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Preferred Experience:

• Background in semiconductor or high-tech industrial construction.
• Familiarity with QA/QC systems and reporting procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field a plus.
