Role Summary
As a Contract Safety Manager, you will oversee safety operations for a hyperscale data center construction project in Columbus, OH. This role requires a proven safety professional with OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification and extensive experience managing safety in multi-trade construction environments. You will enforce compliance, conduct training, and serve as the on-site authority for safety standards while working closely with project leadership and trade partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce site safety compliance in accordance with OSHA, client, and company policies

  • Conduct daily safety audits, inspections, and toolbox talks

  • Lead new hire and subcontractor safety orientations

  • Maintain and review JSAs, logs, and safety reports

  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action planning

  • Serve as the on-site authority for safety practices and standards

  • Collaborate closely with project management and trade partners

What We’re Looking For:

  • OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification (required)

  • 5+ years of construction safety management experience; data center or industrial project experience preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and site safety protocols

  • Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, multi-trade construction environment

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
