HVAC Technician

Great company culture, benefits, pay and growth career plans...check it out below!     VALDOSTA, GA As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial HVAC equipment.   Job Duties • Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in commercial and industrial settings • Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, and chillers • Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills • Use HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems • Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed • Complete required electronic documentation daily on a hand-held device • Work independently to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame • Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory   Requirements • 5 or more years of experience repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVAC equipment • EPA universal certification • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Communication and customer service skills • Experience with chilled water or boiler systems PREFERRED • OSHA 10 certification (the company will provide if needed) • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.   Additional Requirements • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy • Requires basic mechanical aptitude and English language skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Regular and punctual attendance.
